My husband was ironing his jeans earlier today, something he has to do once a blue moon but complains about as though he were ironing a few times a week like I have to! Men, eh?
Any way as he was putting the ironing board down he trapped his finger inside and boy did he shout and swear about it. It has really bruised up now though so I guess it really did hurt a lot. Who knew ironing boards could be so dangerous.
When we went to the store the other day and there was a huge sale going on we also picked up a goulds pump at a fraction of the usual price, it is something that we have needed to buy for a while but didn’t really know where to get one from at a good price because they seemed really expensive.
We went to the store to pick up a number of things including some pontiac mats for my father in law and while we were there there was a huge 75% off sale going on, it was kind of awesome but we came away having spent a small fortune on things we hadn’t even planned to buy – a garden bench, some huge bean bags and a nice chimnea for the garden 
We just got a bunch of new equipment at work and it’s super exciting, we have several new compaq laptops that I need to install all of our software and the like on which is going to be a big job – but totally worth it as the old computers we used were an absolute nightmare, we’ll all be able to get things done a whole lot faster now and that can only be a good thing – more time to sit around and chat…erm…no…I mean more time to get more work done 
A whole bunch of my friends seem to be getting married this summer and I love looking at their diamond engagement rings – so gorgeous. The only downside is that it makes me want to get an new ring – don’t get me wrong I stil love love love mine and always will – but every girl likes to get new jewellery right?
I would like to pick up some morgan dollar coins for my nieces and nephews if any one knows a good place to get them from? They are doing something at school about them and have developed a real interest in coins – it’s always nice to help them learn and encourage their hobbies so if I can get them a little collection started then it’s a great idea I think
