We had a bit of an rv breakdown over Christmas, we had some friends travelling all the way up from Texas and it broke down about half way into the journey – they called for help but because it was Christmas day were told it would be several hours! So we went and picked them up in the end, what a nightmare though – Christmas day is meant to be for relaxing, not driving for hours

I told my boss I would help him find the best business insurance deals when I go back into work tomorrow – I am not sure why he can’t do it himself as it’s definitely not part of my job description but I have this reputation of being the deal/bargain queen so I suppose I should live up to it and provide the desired service.

I lead such an exciting life at the moment, not. All I ever seem to do is go shopping, and usually I like shopping but you can have too much of a good thing you know.

Tomorrow we are heading out to look at pond pumps because my husband just announced we’re going to get a pond put in and keep some fish in it (though we won’t get those until Spring!).

Looking outside my window right now at the several inches of snow that have fallen over the last four days you would think that sunglasses would be the last thing on my mind – but actually I was just browsing around online trying to find somewhere to buy some.

Maybe I am just a little bit too over excited about our vacation in June?

It’s something I often do, buying things when you wouldn’t expect to buy them because that is when you can get the best bargains on things. I always tend to pick up my winter clothes in the spring and summer clothes in the autumn – the only downside of this is that if I have lost more weight by the next time the correct season comes around the stuff doesn’t fit me any more. I end up selling a lot of it on ebay!

Do you have sufficent identity theft protection? I know some people who don’t see it as important because they are like a lot of people and just think that it won’t happen to them – yup, it’s those people that these fraudsters target. It’s not like it takes a lot of time and effort to make sure you do have it! I sometimes think some people deserve to get scammed!

We need to go to the store at the weekend and get new water filters, I have been saying this for about 4 weeks now but we just never seem to get around to it.

I wonder if we can buy the type we need online actually, that’d save a lot of hassle and mean that we’d really have no excuse not to get them! I will have to have a browse around now

I will be doing a little looking around online in a while for information and prices on wireless security systems, we need to upgrade ours – it’s one of the many things we’ve been meaning to do for ages but not got around to. Seriously we have a list a mile long at the moment, I don’t even really know why none of it is actually happening!

We need to get in gear!

We were meant to be heading out to buy some garage flooring today – we have decided to make the space a lot more usable than it is now. But my lovely husband decided he wanted a lazy day instead – it drives me crazy when he’s being lazy because I just don’t have that in me, but he totally deserves a relaxing day after a long week at work so I just about manage to bite my tongue!

No, not the team who were eliminated from The Amazing Race last week after making the daftest decision ever – me and my fiance. We’re going on three seperate trips in the next 2 months.

Where are we headed, any where exciting? Have I got us some great los cabos vacations packages?

We are going to Wakefield, Liverpool and Newcastle – so OK that hardly qualifies us as globetrotters but heck it’s all adventure isn’t it

I have just been looking at netbooks online, I have wanted one for ages but am so far resisting the temptation – the thing is I really don’t need one, I just want one so it’s hard to justify spending that much money on one.

I am hoping to maybe pick one up in the post Christmas sales as I suspect the price is going to drop on them then.

I would love a pink one
