What do you know about student credit cards? I knew a lot several years ago when I actually was a student and relied heavily on them but would not have a clue now.

The Student Credit Cards Center is here to help, they teach not only the pros but also the cons of all things credit related – from identity theft and special credit card offers to credit score information. They have videos galore, articles aplenty and a vast resource center. The site has a nice clean design that makes it very usable and they have a regularly updated blog.

We currently have some very basic home security set up, an alarm basically, but I am thinking of adding more because I like to feel secure in my own home. Thankfully I have never experienced having a house broken into, but the place I worked was robbed several years ago and I remember how lousy that made me feel.

I was angry at the people who did it, but also really scared and suspicious of new customers coming in.

The feelings passed after a few weeks, but it was not fun times.

I think I will be able to convince my husband to upgrade our security quite easily, I spend a lot of time at home alone at night because of his job, and he’ll want me to feel as secure as possible

I was looking for father’s day gifts ideas earlier today, all this talk of Mother’s day with it being just around the corner prompted me to — I have had my Mother’s day gift taken care of for weeks and weeks so I was feeling left out of the shopping goodness, I like shopping And it is only just over a month away, June 21st this year I believe.

I came across Paint Your Life, they sell really neat looking father’s day gifts, basically you send them a photo and they make it into a custom hand done painting. I think this idea is cute as a button. Younger kids could get a picture of themselves with daddy and older kids like me could get him something like a painting from a picture of him from his hey day, looking all young and handsome – I am pretty sure my Dad would appreciate that. Of course you don’t only have to use this for a Father’s day gift, it would be suitable for pretty much any one for pretty much any occasion!
