Eye See You!

I am going to start wearing glasses again I think, I used to wear them when I was younger — from a really young age up until I was about 18 I think and then the eye doctor told me I didn’t need them any more, I was sad because I actually enjoyed wearing them and getting new glasses every few years was like a major event in my life, I would look forward to it for months beforehand — most kids would get excited by birthdays or holidays, I would get excited by glasses, I always was a bit of a nerd hey?

The reason I am now thinking I will get some again is because I came across Optical4Less.com where you can get prescription glasses for as little as $15 delivered — that is insane, they were $100s the last time I needed to get any! At that price I think I can get some even if I don’t technically need them as it is pretty easy to justify spending $15! On the site they also have a neat virtual try on system on the site where you can see what you’d look like in certain frames before you even buy any thing. I am glad I came across this site :)

Back to learning!

I decided recently that once I am down to my goal weight, and confident I can stay there, I am going to go for my personal training certification — I would love to be able to do for other people what my trainer has done for me. It’s also a great way of making sure I lead a healthy lifestyle always and of course it pays quite well.

Who knows, in five years time maybe I could be the next Jillian Michaels? Ok maybe not, I could never be that hard ass with people haha

Come on Summer!

Ah gorgeous summer is fast approaching, I can feel it in the air. Several friends are talking about their upcoming summer vacations and I went shopping for some Ralph by Ralph Lauren sunglasses online earlier today. It really can’t come soon enough for me, I love every thing about it — from the long light days to the heat and being able to rock all the latest summer fashions. It is especially enjoyable for my now that I live in America, summers lasted all year back when I was a child growing up in Australia and I didn’t appreciate them, it was not until I moved to the UK that I really missed them…they don’t get much of a summer in the UK at all, their summer is more like an American spring!

I was looking for the sunglasses at YourSunEssentials.com and I didn’t buy any because I need to wait for my next pay day first, but I will definitely get some from there, they have a big range of well known brands and at really affordable prices, too.

Now, I must get away from this computer and go out and enjoy the gorgeous afternoon sun in my back yard :)
