I am so ready for my summer vacation this year, not only for all the usual reasons like I am worn out from working so hard and ready for a change of scenery, but also because I am a lot skinnier now than I have been on my last several vacations. So I am actually excited to wear my shorts and swimsuit rather than having nightmares about it! I will definitely need to go shopping before we do go away, probably in June, because my vacation gear from last year definitely won’t fit me any more!

I want to go to Disney Waterparks and spend the whole entire day splashing around, apart from being a bucket load of fun it is actually also a great work out so I get to kill two birds with one stone and don’t have to feel guilty about indulging a little on my beloved ice cream, yum.

I don’t know if we will be able to get there or not though, it is an awful long way and you need to go for several days at least to make it worthwhile and have the time to do and see every thing that is on offer there — like Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon which looks insanely awesome, and usually when we go away we can only manage 3 or 4 days due to my husbands work commitments and money issues.

I will have to see if I can convince him we need a longer vacation this year and start saving up my dollars, five dollars here and five dollars there, it all adds up very quickly — we could easily have a few hundred extra come June.

Do you use an iPhone Backup service? I do, because if I lost all of my contacts and and texts it would be like losing a limb — it probably is not healthy to rely so heavily on a piece of technology but hey I bet I am far from the only one!

There are a few high school reunions being organised on Facebook at the moment, one general one and one more specific one for our form group — it got me thinking about what I have actually achieved since school and I think I would be pretty proud to go and share my story with everyone, I have not done any thing spectacular in terms of career but I have met the man of my dreams and got married, maintained awesome relationships with most of my school friends, had a baby, moved to two new countries, worked hard and am simply very happy. It’s a shame I won’t be able to go, I simply can’t justify the expense and time away to travel back to the UK!

Ah gorgeous summer is fast approaching, I can feel it in the air. Several friends are talking about their upcoming summer vacations and I went shopping for some Ralph by Ralph Lauren sunglasses online earlier today. It really can’t come soon enough for me, I love every thing about it — from the long light days to the heat and being able to rock all the latest summer fashions.
