I need to get hinting and sending some links for sites that sell “anniversary gifts for her” to my OH, it’s our ten year anniversary in June and I am expecting a biiiiig gift to celebrate. Of course I plan on getting him a nice gift as well but I already know what that will be so just need to work on what he’s getting for me hehe

What do you know about a discectomy? It’s not something I personally know much about but a friend of mine was talking about it recently and saying that it helped her a lot with her migraines. She knows that I suffer badly with them as well so is trying to help and offer advice, but it seems a little scary and too much for me.

I really really need to remember to pick up a digital converter on the way home from work today, my husband has asked me to almost every day for the last week as the store is right next door and I often pop in there before heading home any way – but I just keep forgetting, it’s not like me to be so scatter brained!

I was really hoping for a diamond necklace for Christmas, but who was I kidding? Me and my husband have never really spent a lot of money on each others gifts for any occasion as we are not really materialistic people but sometimes it would be nice to be ‘treated’ and nothing says treat like a shiny new bit of diamond jewellery, right?

I am looking for a great family all inclusive resort in Lanzarote somewhere for summer 2012 if any one has any reccomendations? I always read reviews of places I am considering on sites like Trip Advisor but I find that nothing beats a personal reccomendation from someone that you know and can actually ask any questions you might have about specific things.

I have been looking at trophies this afternoon as I am going to buy one for my other half who has recently taken up running following the couch to 5k plan and he’s just signed up for his first proper race – a 10k – in April 2012. It would be nice to get him a little something to show him how proud I am of him when he completes it.

One of the top things on my wishlist for Christmas this year was some Lucchese Boots but I don’t think I am going to be able to get any – my other half has already bought me an expensive gift and my family don’t spend that much on me. Hopefully some will come up in the sale and we’ll be able to pick some up then

I am thinking of getting my brother a guitar for Christmas this year – he used to have one as a teenager and got quite good at it, he used to spend hours teaching himself how to play and if I remember correctly he even had a few lessons and played a few gigs with a few friends.

He’s been mentioning it a lot recently so I am not sure if he’s hinting at wanting one now or not but either way I think that it’s a nice idea

I think I am going to ask my mum to get me one of those body pillow for Christmas this year, they look so comfortable and I always find that I tend to wrap myself around a pillow or two any way. They look really nice to snuggle into in winter, especially when my darling husband isn’t around to keep me warm.

I think I have mentioned it before but I love my barcode scanner -I used it at home as part of a rewards website I am part of, I earn points for scanning every thing I buy and uploading my receipts and then I can use those points to pay for things like Amazon vouchers and cinema tickets. I have a lot of fun with it.
