I want it!!
September 3rd, 2010
My next door neighbours just got the new bob revolution stroller and I am green with envy – it’s so cool looking. We certainly didn’t have things like that back in ‘my day’, I’d kill to be a kid again so that I could be pushed around in one of those and feel like queen of the world, ah, simple pleasures.
Blu Ray Newbie
September 3rd, 2010
Do you know, I don’t own a single blu ray! How crazy is that? Maybe I need to get with the times a little. Though I suppose the reason I don’t own any is because I don’t buy that much on dvds etc any more either – it’s too expensive and generally I only watch things once any way and I’d rather go to the cinema for that.
New Shoes Needed
September 3rd, 2010
I really need to go and pick up some Privo shoes at some point, my old ones finally gave way a few weeks ago and they were always the most comfortable shoes I ever owned.
I wish I remember where I got them originally so I could literally just go and get the exact same ones, but I am sure I will be able to find some I like just as much that are just as comfy
Bags Bags Bags
September 3rd, 2010
I was just looking at some Rebecca Minkoff handbags and they are to die for, I am not usually one for designer gear really but have to admit I would spend lots of my hard earned cash to buy one of these bags. I usually don’t see them as worth the money for just a name, but when you really love the design as well it’s a whole different story.
So many electronics
August 20th, 2010
Argh we have so many electronics in this house it’s ridiculous, I never realised how many plugs I have plugged in at home until it came time to find new slots for them in the new house. Crazy times. It’s no wonder our electricity bill is so high each month because we mainly leave things on standby as well.
Doing some reading
August 18th, 2010
I have just been reading a bunch of articles on Article Alley, they have so many articles to read that there’s something there for every one – my mum and dad, my fiance, my friends and my sister in law all use it all the time as well.
There’s so much information available out there on the world wide web for free, it amazes me that people still pay for anything – like books and information – even educational things.
I’ve been reading about Homer and The Iliad the last few days as it reminds me of school, I did classical studies at A Level but I never really went to school that much in the 6th form as I was more interested in sleeping heh. Of course in retrospect I wish I had put more effort in but hey ho, you can’t go back in time, only forward
Helping out mum
August 9th, 2010
I was just helping my mum research some Medicare part D plans, as it’s something she is interested in. My Aunt has a plan as well and is often recommending it to her.
I like being able to help out my mum with things online because she’s always helping me out with things.
Bargain insurance
July 31st, 2010
I need to look up some rv insurance quotes this weekend, we are borrowing my aunts RV for a little trip we are taking and the deal is that we can use it for free if we can get her a killer bargain on her insurance which is up for renewal at the end of August. I am sure we’ll be able to find her a good one
A good move
July 24th, 2010
I am so glad that I got a good laptop warranty when I first bought my beloved laptop, I paid extra for a 3 year one and it’s already proved worth the money on two occasions and I will probably always buy extended warranties on things in the future – especially expensive electrical items – where as before I never really bothered with them.
Watching the harbour
July 24th, 2010
My dad just bought a new binocular set for when they go away on holiday, they like to go to this place in Wales we’ve been visiting since we were kids and get somewhere by the harbour with a balcony so that they can then sit out on it and enjoy the comings and goings – but his eyesight isn’t what it used to be, hence the binoculars!
